Kirtan is an invocation and response meditation – the leader chants the mantra and the group responds, creating a dynamic and inspiring experience for all. Let's experiment with our local kirtan band – you'll encounter trained bhakti yogis singing enchantingly on the harmonium (Indian organ), rhythmic tambourines and strings, and experts achieving amazing rhythms on the mridanga, the traditional kirtan drum. The room is filled with candles, pillows and exquisite aromas. We welcome you to experience the most secret gem of yoga practice. You do not need to have musical experience. You don't have to be able to tune either. It just brings the desire to revitalize your mind and awaken your essential being.
